Fatal Curl Errorcouldn't connect to host RETS download

I recently moved my TRETS site to a different plan at the same host (Hostgator). Everything ran fine before but on the new account I get "Fatal Curl Errorcouldn't connect to host" when running the download. I've confirmed that port 80 is open. What else could be causing this error? Thanks!

The error means what it says. PHP CURL cannot connect to the site/server/address you are trying to connect to for whatever reason. Many hosts intentionally block *outgoing* connections by default, the fact that you moved your site and started getting problems would likely mean you are not running the same server configuration or restrictions/permissions as before.

I would open a support ticket at Transparent Tech if you cannot figure out what has changed and need assistance with TRETS.
