Internal API license error

I have read through similar answers.

Yes, I did put OR in a Virtual Host in order to tweak PHP settings only for that site, but it was working.

Today after restarting computer it no longer works, trouble is that I cannot fix anything because I am getting a blank page with only that error in it.

I am trying to install it in my local server so I can test it before I buy.

I have seen this documentation and gone through the steps.

I have already re-issued license.

However, I cannot continue with following steps:

5. Login to your Open-Realty admin area as the admin user.

6. Click the Site Config link.

7. Click the "View/Change License Key" link.

8. Re-save your license key.

Because I get a blank page with just the notice: Internal API license error.

Read what it says below that - "Q: I tried the steps above...."

I see in the link above many FAQ but nothing like "Q: I tried the steps above...."

Before opening a ticket I will try following:

I see that license is looking for /var/www/open-realty/include as location.

I think problem is that I renamed folder to openrealty without dash.

Anyway, not a big issue since there is nothing in that site yet.

I will reinstall OR in a folder called open-realty with dash.

If that does not work will be back to you.

O.K. you changed the folder location where OR is installed without re-running the installer and selecting the "Update path/url" option which will definitely cause it to fail.

See docs:
