prepopulate a listing field with video player

In my application I'm using the listing field editor to create a listing field called 'Action Video". It's a textarea and will contain the code for a 'Flowplayer' Video player so that a listing page has video capability. Uploading the videos is handled by the listing file uploader. Since each listing page will have the same video capability is it possible to prepopulate the 'Action Video" listing field with the Flowplayer code? This way all that needs to be done in each separate case is just change the video url to the uploaded video.

Have you tried inserting your information as the default text for yoru field?

Yes, I tried that first but It didn't work and caused a malfunction so that I couldn't edit the field once I'd added that code. I then had to delete the field and recreate it. Could it be that the default text field is limited in length and the code 'overflowed' it? The code is 765 characters in length.
