TransparentMaps no longer showing pins on search result area map

Yesterday (Nov 20, 2013), as we used our OR system, we noticed it is no longer putting pins on the map. I have placed a support ticket with the help desk but there has been no reply. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any help is appriciated!!

I checked two of my clients' sites and it's not showing the the markers and based on the tag, it's not even finding the locations.

Place a ticket at transparent tech.

I have. I placed a ticket on Nov. 20, 2013. I still have not received a response. I thank you for taking the time to respond Wayne. I also checked out the TransparentMaps demo website and it has the same issues.

They may be busy working on a fix.

If you need a quick fix, there are ways to include a map in your listing page and use the Open Realty address tag values to properly show a map.

Ditto with same issue.

Using Tmaps 2.1.6.

What solution is recommended?

Wayne,

Does a fix exist for the pin issue?

Have posted twice to the forum Question and Problem categories asking the same. Both posts were deleted without response.

Not certain what forum etiquette I violated posing the question but offer apology if have done so.

Among forum members I am sure agreement exists that deletion of posts with no indication qualifies as violation of forum etiquette.

Just seeking solution to issue:)

I do not have a fix for it but as I mentioned above, there are ways to show a simple map in the listing page.

Post a contact here and I will contact you.

I really wish we had a private messaging system here.

Wayne,

Please delete the file below once received if you are able to.

Thanks.

Hi Wayne,

I would love to see how you got that to work? I have spent hours trying to get the current TT Maps to work with no luck. Newly created Google V3 api keys are not backwards compatible.

We all could use some help here?

I do not use TT Maps

And I cannot post what I use here. I simply use the Open Realty field tags to work with Google's current map codes. It is not as flexible as TT Maps but it places a nice map in my listing.

I gave a simple temporary solution to William above and I have not heard back if it works for him. you can post your email here and I can send you what I sent William then you can remove your email after I email you.

Thank you.

Guys, you all know TMAPS add-on is a commercial product with its code encrypted. That means: no one HERE is able to post a fix for any problem! The ONLY place to ask for help is at TTECH Support (https://www.transparent-support.com/billing/contactsupport.php).

Wayne, this is not a Forum, this software do not have the possibility to have a private messaging, it is not intended to have it, what you ask will not be even considered. Final! :)

Good place for you to go: http://www.community.useresponse.com/responses/private-messages

Thank you Eduardo

I was not asking for a fix here, I know there is a ticket system for that, I do use a few Open Realty Pro license.

I was trying to help by suggesting a alternate solution until TMap addresses the situation. They are here because they wanted help and I thought I had something to offer so I offered.

Thanks you, I will back away from this topic now.

I'm having the same problem where the pins don't show up and all our listing maps default to the general map. I submitted a ticket to support 3 days ago, but have received no reply or acknowledgement whatsoever. Since this is a commercial product for which we pay, including annual support agreements, I would think we could at least get an acknowledgement when we submit a support ticket.

If you received an email response with ticket# right after you opened your ticket, that would be your acknowledgement.

Are you running the latest version of TMAPS? If not, you need to be. The latest version is always available via your customer area where you originally downloaded it.

Yes, we are running v2.1.6 which is the latest release. We even tried their V3 beta versions temporarily, and that not only didn't fix the problem, it screwed up the display of all maps. So we fell back to the latest release version.

TMAPS v3 Beta 4 is what you should be using. It works, and is the latest version, and should be available via your download area. TMAPS v2.x stopped working when google changed their maps API.

We did try TMAPS v3 beta 4 this morning. It didn't resolve the issue at all. The problem with displaying the default general map without the pin instead of the individual listing maps persisted. It also completely messed up the display of even the general map. The default map would display as a small little square, instead of the size provided in the UI. We tested it with the latest versions of IE, Firefox, and Chrome and they all had the same results. Therefore we fell back to version 2.1.6, since it at least displays the maps at proper size, albeit a not very useful map.

Is there something else we need to do in order to configure the V3 Beta version to display properly?
