Where are the user related hooks located?

I would like to modify the after_user_signup($userID) hook- which is called after a successful registration. I would like the user once registered to be taken to a custom page with instructions on how to proceed. Is it possible to redirect the registrant to a custom page URL? How would I change this in the hook?

Thanks. understood. So if I wanted the after_user_signup($userID) hook to redirect to a custom page I could put a file in the /hooks folder by the name after_user_signup.php with a class after_user_signup but then what code would be used in the following function to implement the custom redirect?

//after_user_signup($userID) - called after a successful registration//

function after_user_signup($userID) { }

As a solution to the above question: I renamed the after_user_signup.php file in the /hooks folder to after_signup.php and changed the class to after_signup and put the following simple php redirect as function after_user_signup($userID) {

header( 'Location: http://yourwebsite.com/index.php?action=page_display&PageID=XX' ) ;

exit;}
